Madolyn + Gio | Aristide Flower Mound Wedding

FINALLY!! I mean this wedding was so many things, at so many times and we are so happy to have been a part of this journey with Mady and Gio! We met Madolyn and her dearest friend at the Mid-Cities Bridal Show in February of 2020. Yep, it was right before everything happened. I remember talking to Mady and she had the biggest smile on her face talking about her wedding and what she was looking for! She told us she knew we were the right photographers for her! So we set up a consult to meet with her and Gio, at our home studio a few weeks later. Talking with them is just so easy, and they have the sweetest personalities, we all knew this was going to be a special relationship!

Fast forward a month, and before we knew it, our world completely changed. While we knew their wedding was still a year a way, nothing was for certain anymore. But Mady and Gio stayed so positive and we continued planning! It’s always good to throw out the good vibes into the universe!

One of the things we talked about in our consult was how they felt awkward about taking photos. They hadn’t really had professional portraits done of the two of them and were worried they wouldn’t be good at posing. We hear this a lot, luckily we have lots of tips and tricks to help our couples feel good and have fun! One of the things we did was pick a location that they love and are comfortable with. We all decided Downtown Fort Worth was the best place! We even found the original fire station while we were down there. Of course we had to incorporate that into the session since Mady is a firefighter! After it was all said and done, we had both of them smiling from ear to ear, having way too much fun! As the year progressed, there were still some ups and downs going on, but we are so happy that when March came around, all was clear and we were able to have a wedding!!! I absolutely love every detail about this wedding day! The gorgeous Aristide Flower Mound never disappoints as every room is completely perfect. You really don’t have to do a lot of decorating! Mady chose the most beautiful color palette for her day, with creams, purples, blush and silver accents! And I have never seen a more beautiful blue suit than what the guys were wearing to compliment the colors! It’s a photographer’s dream y’all!!!

The ceremony was so sweet and included something I had never seen before, a wine letter box! Mady and Gio chose a special wine to place in a box with letters to each other. On the day of their first fight as newly weds, they get to open the box, pour themselves a glass of wine and read each other’s letters. How stinkin’ cute!!! There were lots of laughs, and a few happy tears as they said their vows in front of their dearest family and friends. I didn’t think their smiles could get any bigger that day, but as soon as the officiant said, “You may kiss the bride.”, they both lit up like the 4th of July!

And there was no shortage of fireworks in the reception that followed! After a delicious meal, catered by Aristide, the dance floor was open and everyone was out there! Andrew, with Everlasting Sounds, had the place hopping all night long! Photobooth fun, an enthusiastic bridesmaid catching the bouquet, and dads on the dance floor, made this night one we will never forget!!

Congratulations Mady and Gio! We are so honored to have been your photographers and are even more blessed to now call you friends! We love you guys and are so excited for this new chapter in your lives! Cheers to you both!!
