Gita & David’s Reflections Garden Wedding
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away… This is the story of Coffee meets Bagel! Gita has been a part of the Morales family since before Stephen and I were even dating. We have spent many holidays together laughing, joking, telling stories and more. When David entered the picture a fews later, we all new pretty quickly he and Gita were made for each other! Like many couples, they met online on a dating site called Coffee Meets Bagel. Their humor and wit are spot on with each other, and they are always the first to get people to smile and laugh! Our friendship with them is so special and we were absolutely honored when they told us they wanted us to be their wedding photographers!
That was at Thanksgiving last year, and that Christmas we headed out to Addison, to Vitruvian Park, for their Christmas themed engagement session! Nothing is ever dull with these two, and their session was no different! With their sweet doggie Henry in tow, we all had such a great time laughing and posing into the night! Fast forward to wedding day and we are pumped! I started the morning with the girls at the Hampton Inn & Suites for some bridal beauty and getting ready shots. These girls are the absolute sweetest! We had a little trouble with the veil, but Gita’s Aunt is a sewing master and she had everything taken care of in no time! After everyone was ready, we made our way to the church!
Stephen got to hang out with the guys while they waited for us to arrive at the church. Now, here is a crazy fun bunch! I just love how each groomsman had a tie pin that represented their superhero! And then comes the bowtie. Anyone ever tied a bowtie? Apparently it’s a lot harder than you think it is!! That was an ordeal watching everyone try and figure that one out! Once everyone was ready, we all took our places and got ready to watch Gita and David say “I do!”!
These love birds chose to pledge themselves to one another at their home parish, Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church. So many of their closest friends and family came to celebrate their love and vowed to help them through this new journey of marriage together!
After they said I do, we had a few minutes to do family formals and then we were off to Reflections Venue & Gardens for their reception!! In true Gita and David fashion, they entered their reception space as dueling Lord and Lady, with a lightsaber and a sword from Game of Thrones! They had everyone on their feet cheering!! The last few hours were filled with tons of belly laughs, a beautiful father/daughter and uncle/niece dance combo and more love than anyone can imagine! We had so much fun meeting all of Gita and David’s loved ones and celebrating with them!
To Gita and David, welcome to the married club! May all the years of your marriage be blessed, and may the Lord shine is grace upon you both and breathe great life into you and your marriage. We are beyond grateful to have been a part of this journey with you guys and we cannot wait to grow as old couples together! Cheers!!
