This is such an exciting time for you! We're Courtney and Stephen and we're a husband and wife team that make up Courtney Lynn Photography!
We're so excited that you found us and because we believe that wedding photography is done best when couples have a relationship with their photographer and truly trust them. This is how we have guaranteed and delivered incredible photography experiences to our Courtney Lynn Couples over the past several years! When we arrive on a wedding day, we need to feel like an old friend and not like a stranger. This affects every aspect of how your photos will turn out!

Because in order to get those natural, genuine portraits that truly capture who you are, you have to feel comfortable with the person taking them. The way you feel while you are having your portraits taken heavily influences how you feel when you feel yourself in the final images. We want to get to know you and be more than just another vendor... We want to be another friend celebrating with you on the happiest day of your life!

We have found that, for a traditional wedding day, we need a minimum of 8 hours to capture the full story of your day with a stress-free timeline.
8 hour minimum
We include an engagement session because this is our opportunity to get to know you and empower you to feel comfortable in front of the camera! Because of this, we will not remove or exchange this session from the collection.

Stephen is a non-negotionable part of our wedding experience! Groomsmen rave about his effortless ability to make everyone feel like an old friend. The CLP Wedding Experience wouldn't be the same without him!

We love helping our couples create the perfect, stress-free timeline about 5-6 months before the big day. This ensures we will have plenty of time to create a timeline that will allow for all the important moments you want captured. No last minute scrambling to make sure everything gets fit in.

WHY INVEST?
Your first decision as an engaged couple is to set priorities for your wedding planning. You have to decide what you value most. Is it the dress? The food? The venue? As a bride AND a photographer, I believe that couples should make their photography a top priority. After the big day is over, you will leave your reception with a spouse and your pictures... that's it! All of that planning and preparation is over in a matter of hours!
So if you're choosing to invest in high quality photography, those images deserve a classy, elegant home after the wedding. This is why we offer a high-end, leather bound Legacy Album in our collection. The images are printed straight onto the pages and the covers are wrapped with a grain leather and acrylic cover. This is the perfect ending to the wedding experience and it's a keepsake that you will be showing your children and grandchildren on day!

We are more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! We actually love it when our couples ask us to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! We book engagement sessions at least 2 months in advance.
Engagement travel?
We average 75-100 images per hour that we are shooting. We love delivering our client's files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes!
how many images can you expect?
We love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn't even know we're there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) We teach our couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don't need quite as much instruction from us!
what's our shooting style?

We'll go over your vision and expectations of our services and answer any questions you have. In order to officially reserve your date, we'll need a $1000 retainer and signed contract either at the consult or within 48 hours of it.
