Lisa & Ralph’s Engagement Session

OMG, I just love engagement portraits! It’s the perfect opportunity for us to get together with our amazing couples and just have some fun taking pictures! This was especially true for our session with Lisa and Ralph last week!

I met Lisa and Ralph last September after they had just secured their beautiful wedding venue for their big day this year. At our initial consultation I loved learning all about them and their dreams for their simple and sweet, “Let Love Grow” wedding! When we discussed their engagement session, they knew they already had the perfect place to do it!

Lisa and Ralph chose to do their engagement portraits at the same venue they are going to say “I do!” at, the Hidden Gardens Event Venue. They told me the moment they saw it, they just knew, it was THE ONE! From the stunning ivy wall, to the luscious gardening landscape around the property, it embodies their relationship perfectly and it’s historic charm lends that sweet and intimate feeling they are looking for on their wedding day.

Despite it being summer in Texas, we were blessed with a beautiful, overcast day for their session! We had such a great time walking the grounds and Lisa and Ralph caught on to our core poses so quickly! We even found a favorite for them! We knew Ralph was having fun when we told them the next pose and Ralph yells “YES!”, LOL! And how beautiful is Lisa with her bright blue dress and gorgeous red hair?! I just love the way Ralph looks at her in these portraits, so in love! I’m already dreaming of their wedding day portraits and cannot wait to celebrate with them and their family and friends!

Congratulations Lisa and Ralph!! We are so excited to be a part of this special time in your lives and we cannot wait until your big day in September!
