Katie + Ryan | Stockyards Engagement Session

This past weekend we met up with one of our newest couples, Katie and Ryan to have a little fun! Their sweet Fort Worth Stockyards Engagement Session was all smiles, despite the colder weather we had come through!

We met Katie at the Bustled Bridal Show back in August. She and Ryan had originally planned to get married this past October, but 2020 had it’s own plans and they chose to postpone until April. Unfortunately, their photographer was not available for their new date, so they came to the show to find a new one. We scheduled a consult to talk more after the show and about 5 minutes in, we knew they were going to be so much fun to work with!

On engagement day, we met in front of the Nestle Shop and grabbed some coffee to keep our insides warm! Before we got started Ryan, told me he wanted to be honest and said that getting pictures is a beating. He just wanted me to tell him where to stand and what to do. I told him I hear that a lot, and I promised to make it as fun as possible!

The biggest reason we do engagement sessions is to have fun and learn how to pose without any stress. That’s the number one thing we hear from the grooms, and it’s our job to ensure a relaxed and comfortable environment for all!

After a little model training, these two were on point! We even came up with their very own pose!! I think we could have gone on for a whole other hour! But once the sun had set, we called it a success and headed back to the cars. As we said our goodbyes, Ryan told me this was the most fun he had ever had. I told him wedding day was going to be even better!!
