Having married in June ourselves, we are slightly partial to all June weddings!! This one, even more so because Ace and Chris actually got married on Stephen’s birthday! And it’s also the day before our anniversary! Needless to say, celebrating such an amazing weekend with Ace, Chris and their friends and family, was absolutely amazing!!
This was also a pretty awesome day because it was our first wedding to photograph at The Big White Barn! We’ve known Faith and her team for a little over a year. We were so excited to finally get the chance to work with them! The entire vendor team did such an amazing job bringing Ace and Chris’s wedding day vision to life. When we had our initial consultation with Ace and Chris, they told us they wanted to have a fun day! We created their timeline for a first look which, in our opinion, is one of the best things you can do to create a fun and stress-free day. And even better, Ace’s dad did a first look with her too!! Not gonna lie dad’s tearing up when they see their little girl for the first time always gets me!
Their ceremony was so incredibly sweet and I love the beautiful frame they used for their sand ceremony! Once they said “I do!”, everyone headed inside to cool off while we took family portraits and a few more bride and groom portraits. And we definitely had to get an action shot of everyone throwing their discs!! Of course they had an area set up to play disc golf during the reception, since Ace, Chris and their friends are disc golf masters!
Congratulations Ace & Chris!! We are so happy that we were able to be a part of this journey with you and pray that you will have a wonderfully blessed marriage!
