It’s officially summer time in Texas, but you’d never know looking at this gorgeous session! Emily and Jason were such troopers in the heat and made everything look so easy! For their engagement session, they chose to shoot at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens. The gardens have special meaning to them, which is one of the many things we all have in common!! It’s where Stephen and I met! Emily and Jason had many a dates at the gardens, including the Japanese Garden, and that’s where our adventure began!
I always love doing sessions in the Japanese Garden. It’s so calm and beautiful, it’s the perfect place to start with teaching Emily and Jason about the core poses! They became posing pros in no time! These two are so cute together, and we absolutely love talking about everything together!! Emily and I were both joking about our very pale skin and guessing whether or not we’d have a good sunburn by the end of the session!
Moments like this remind me that engagement session are more about the adventure and the experience than they are about the images. The images are important but the quality time that we get to spend with our couples is what means the most to us! We loved our time with Emily and Jason and we are so excited for their wedding in October!!
Enjoy this beautiful session! It was on a perfect summer evening and the light could not have been more amazing!!!
